i struggle with the idea that everything happens for a reason and that even if there is no way of finding out what that reason is, there is one, or more than one. add to that a binary where what i do or decide to do or not do, must be either the result of me exercising my own free will or (pre)determined by other factors of which i may or not have any knowledge (see here for example) and now you have a narrative where there is no space for true randomness, no possibility of the impossible, and where love, care and meaning are illusions. is that what you want? well you see it doesn’t matter what you want because you have no choice in it ha ha so just go and have a nice sunday and don’t worry about it.
